We designed and built Istedafah's rental marketplace and its iOS and Android apps, so travellers can choose between a nightly stay and an annual lease across five countries.
Rentals that were too rigid
Most rental platforms make you pick one: a holiday stay or a long term lease, on different sites with different rules. Istedafah wanted to offer both in one place.
Property owners also needed an easy way to earn from spare space, and travellers needed to trust that listings were real and guests were vetted.
Two rental models on one platform
We built one listing and booking system that handles nightly stays and annual leases side by side, so hosts and guests use the same platform for both.
Verification for properties and guests sits in the core flow. We also added a storytelling layer where hosts and travellers share experiences, which turns the platform into a community rather than just a booking form.
